Hi.  I'm Laura Heldreth and this is my garden adventure. I grow a foliage paradise garden using organic methods in the suburbs of The ‘Couve (Vancouver, Washington). Zone 8b but weather extremes are becoming frequent. My Pirate helps with projects and design choices. Bella, our 146 pound Great Dane, helps with everything.

Our next door neighbor helps keep us humble by telling me just how much he hates our garden. And the pedestrians and school kids try to ‘help’ us with their advice. For instance, Squirrels happen.

My advice to you is simple. Life is short. Buy the damn plant.
